Christmas Lunch with Santa

Santa came to lunch with the children and was very impressed by their hospitality and table manners! The Christmas lunch was delicious and tasty and there were very few leftovers that day. Crackers, hats, jokes and treats were enjoyed by all, bringing more Christmas magic to Tickton.

Fraction Fun

Class five took their fraction work outdoors this week.  Designing and playing their own equivalent fraction relays.  The children had to do some quick thinking (and running!) to solve the tricky problems they created.  Who knew fractions could be so much fun?

Athletics Champions (again!)

After having won our local cluster competition and becoming Beverley Schools Champions, the team went to the next round at Longcroft last Tuesday where they competed with teams from other sports partnerships from our local area, such as Driffield and Bridlington.
