East Riding Cycle4Life Challenge

East Riding Cycle4Life Challenge

Well done to Miss Holdsworth and Miss Wardlow who took part in the East Riding Cycle4Life challenge today.  They joined other teachers from across the East Riding to take part in the ‘Battlefield to Beach Challenge’, a 105.4KM cycle ride from Stamford Bridge to Withernsea. The whole school turned out with flags, bunting and balloons to cheer them on.

The challenge was part of the Cycle4Life event, a week-long celebration of cycling as not only a sustainable form of transport but also a great way of keeping fit. There have been several other events, including a bike festival in Beverley where lots of our pupils had fun jumping their bikes onto a giant airbag!

You can find out more about other upcoming events and how your family can get involved on the Cycle4life website.
